Jocky thought for a moment. "Moments?" she said teasingly asshe jumped off her chair. "What moments?" Jocky knew what he was talking about though. Jocky took a quick glance at her watch. "What time are you going home, Vearo?"

"Probably soon. why, need a ride?" Reese asked grinning. "Im planning on going for a run and stuff in the morning, and I have to work, so I will probably be leaving shortly."

Jocky frowned. "Don't leave too early!" she said, giving Reese's shirt a quick tug. "It's the weekend. Don't be a killjoy about everything!"
If there was one thing Jocky hated, it was going home early in the weekend. it was the only time she was allowed to stay out late and she wasn't going to waste it any time soon.

"Good," said Jocky as she sat back down. the band stopped playing and the people settled down as well...most of them did anyway. The next band was to come up in a few minutes.
Jocky looked at Reese. "What's up with you anyway? Leaving early on a weekend!"

"I'm the new weekend lifeguard at the beach. Saturdays nine-3 and Sundays twelve to four. They can be changed, but thats what they've asked if I could do," Reese replied with a grin. "Gonna come visit me? Maybe bring me an iced tea every once in a while?"

"Naw, no big deal. Its basically what I do every day of the weekend, isnt it? Tomorrow is only twelve to four too. A guy needed to be off at three-thirty, so we traded," Reese grinned. "Plus, its the same thing I do every time at the beach....watch the goings on. This time though, I might have to save someone."

Jocky pointed to herself. "Still makes you wonder?" she asked. She stretched for a bit as she watched the new band coming up to play. "here comes round two," she said.

Jocky turned to him. "You'd never live it down if I stopped talking to you, Reese," she said warningly. If there was something she didn't want to be called...it was shorty.
