Jocky grinned. "My best friend..Reese, he's trying out for the Ravens basketball team." She took another sip of her rootbeer. "I can't wait to watch him. He's really good. I'm thinking of trying out for the cheerleading squad. That's about all the news I have." She laughed. "How about you? Anything I should know?"

"Seems like life's been boring to me, oh and so glad you didn't forget Reese," Aiden chuckled, "Maybe i'd try the team too, and you're seriously trying to try out for them? I thought you didn't like them,"

"Well," said Jocky. She didn't like them...Oh she didn't. But she's got no choice. She has to show the principal school spirit one way or the other, right?
"No choice," she replied to Aiden, finishing the rest of her drink. "I'd like a women's basketball team, but I'v e got to dream on first." She smiled. "Yeah, why don't you try out?"

"I am going to try out for the team," Aiden grinned, "if they'd have me of course," he added.
"So how many have you gathered for your women's basketball team? i know it's still a dream but surely you should have gotten a few right now,"

"she's gotten another one," Reese grinned, hearing a bit of the conversation over the music. "A new girl names Shanea wants to join in. Oh the power to convince pretty girls... I swear, its a curse," Reese joked. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"  |

"I'd dock you if you were," said Jocky as she scooted over so that Reese could join in in the conversation. "You still onto that pretty girl thing, huh? Dream on, loverboy! Shanae is in my year and you know that freshmen aren't much," she said, teasingly stressing the word freshmen.
She then looked at Aiden. "Not much...sadly," she said to him.

Aiden laughed, "that's how we are, aren't we Reese," he acknowledged the younger boy, "we go after pretty girls with spunk yet should be with innocence too," he added.
"I'll be sure to collect some for you too Jocky," Aiden turned back to Jocky, "I'll make sure they'll make the boys drool inside out," he laughed over the music that boomed. "Anyway, age shouldn't matter," he said as he continued to lean against the counter,
"Oh by the way Reese take this," Aiden dug his pocket again and stuck out the crumpled paper ti Reese with his name. "So'd our Jocky here won't forget your name," he said with his grins again

"You both are evil," said Jocky, though she was smiling. She liked her old friends as much as her new ones. "And besides, I'd never forget Reese's name! I knew him even before I could talk," she said, flashing a quick smile at Reese.

Reese grinned and took the piece of paper. He attached it to the golden chain necklace and grinned. "Yeah, she actually came up to me on the beach. Couldnt resist this," Reese joked. "Even better, is the girl has a twin sister... a rather evil twin sister, but one all the same," he told Aiden.
"Yeah, Jockey and I go way back. Friend for life I say. sorry cutie, you're struck with me," Reese chuckled over to Jockey. "but at least you have your own personal body guard if need be."

"No, shes only visiting. they dont get along that well, so her twin lives with her dad or something... cant really remember. I was too busy staring at her legs. You know how it goes," Reese replied with a grin and shrug to aiden.

"Guys are definitely weird now!" said Jocky as she listened to their conversation. Oh, she was not bothered though, being used to Reese all these years. "Evil twin sister, please! Dream on guys. The girl's nice, and I got to know her!"

"Why don't you stop talking about an invented twin and just go talk to Shanae?" she asked. She looked at the barista who knew that Jocky was looking for another rootbeer to devour. "Don't act so childishly, that would turn the girl away from you even more!"
