Reese had decided to go out that afternoon to the beach, mainly out of boredom. He was free from a shirt, but did wear a pair of sandals, and green board shorts. He sat on a towel, a can of coke in his hand as he watched the waves come in and out along the sand. He hadnt noticed that he had begun to burn. slowly, he scanned the beach. People were playing volleyball and swimming. Some, like him were just relaxing in the sun.  |

"SHANAE!" A furious Ally screamed from the house, chasing her with her voice only as Shanae ran for her dear life. She let out a good hearted laugh as she blindly sprinted away. Sweet revenge!
Shanae's run subsided to a walk with her panting, as her bright hazel eyes scanned the beach. And then she spotted Reese, she smiled wider as she approached him. "Hi!" she said breathlessly

Reese looked up at Shanae, "Hey new girl." He moved over for her to sit on the towel. "Hows it going?" he asked. "Arent you a bit warm in those jeans and tee?"

Shanae laughed and panted at the same time as she looked up at Reese. "I'm used to it, besides the house is still a bit dangerous," she said, the happiness seemed to reflect in her voice.
"And you seem to be..." Shanae looked at his shirtless torso and blushed, "...very comfortable" she added with a smile, making the blush look as if it was caused by her run.

Reese grinned looking down, "Yeah, starting to burn a little, but no big deal. It'll be a tan in a couple days." he looked back at her, "Sit. Stay a while. I still dont get how you can wear that in this heat, but whatever. Unpacking not going so well?"

Shanae smiled, and sat down onto the sand, feeling the heat of the sun splashing onto her.
"If you give me a scissor, and i can cut it to a short" she grinned, since she only had a few skirts with her. Since some of her skirts were stolen by Ally, "the unpacking in doing well, but then she-devil is invading my house," Shanae said.

"She-devil?" Reese asked. "One second," he stood and ran over to the first aid tower. Moments later he was running back, scissors in hand. "Here ya go...whos the she-devil again?" he asked, sitting back down.

Shanae let out a soft small and gladly excepted the scissors.
She turned to her stretched leg and tried to cut it. "The She-devil is my evil twin sister who came to ruin my life," despite the words, she smiled.

"Twins?" Reese asked slightly shocked. "Soo...are you two going to go to Tree Hill High? Why don't you get along?" he asked. 'Want me to help with that?"

Shanae always liked the surprised expression of people when she had told them she had a twin.
"Nah, she's staying with my Grandma in Nevada but she's visiting for a while," she shrugged as she watched the scissors 'sizz' its way around her leg. "We might be twins but we are world's apart, she's more of a 'Paris-Hilton-type' that we used to hate when we were still kids. And please don't, she has a nasty temper and will bite your head off, though she might hesistate," Shanae took the cut off leg of the jeans and placed it on the sand.

"I was talking about your pants, but You seem to be alright now," Reese chuckled. "But now I know how to tell you two apart. She's apparently a wannabe Paris, and you're so down to earth. Well if you wanna grab a suit, want me to escort you and distract her?" he asked grinning. "I can chat her up for five minutes or so."

"She's very different and she died her hair to blonde," Shanae smiled as she looked at Reese.
"And if you do try to distract her, she might not let you go, unless if she finds another good-looking guy, then you'd be free from her clutches" She laughed, and turned to her other leg.

"I can deal with a stalker, for what...a week at most?" Reese asked. "I'm sure she'd find someone else to stalk by then," he chuckled. "Or I can just play your boyfriend... make her a jealous sister also."

Shanae blushed but luckily her hair covered her face like a curtain.
"And she would take that as a challange she'd love to accept, and mostly she wins," she shrugged as she thought of the many boys Ally had stolen from her and Shanae had finally gave up pursuing boys unless if she was a 100 miles away. "Besides that would be just... inappropriate?" she let out a chuckle as she started to cut the other leg of her jeans

"I guess so, but I honestly couldnt see myself going for your sister. From what you said, she's too high up on her horse, and is too much of a princess. I prefer down to earth girls, that I can play ball and stuff with, ya know?" Reese asked. "But if you think it would be inappropriate, then thats fine. I can just be the distraction if you want."
