Shanae's eyes widened as he mentioned the turtle being dinner, "Don't say that! It might just come true," she warned him.
But then heat crept up her cheeks again, "I told you not to mind it, it's an embarassing side effect... and its pathetic" she mummbled

"Just because You tell me not to do something, doesnt mean I will do it. I can fake not minding it, but with that voice you used, it was kind of hard," Reese replied still chuckling.

"Figured you'd say that, boys never do anything what the girls say unless if that girl was a woman and your mother," Shanae managed to grin at what she said, for it was entirely true. But then she rewinded the situation in her head,
"What kind of voice?" she asked

"The high pitched yet sad voice that girls get when they hear something shocking, yet potentially depressing," Reese laughed again. "It's ok, you cant help it. It's a girl thing," he grinned, turning the tables back onto Shanae

"And guys aren't the sensitive type too, are they?" Shanae glared through the few droplets of water resting on her lashes, "and that's a guy thing, but my voice wasn't high pitched... it was just a normal tone," she said in a almost pouty voice.

"No, guys can be sensitive, but I could never picture myself making that noise for a turtle," Reese grinned. "Don't glare pretty girl, you'll get premature crows feet. And its alright that you did it, because most girls would."

Shanae childishly stuck out her tongue ever so slightly at him, "I don't wanna be most girls... at least i'm trying not to be," she frowned again at the last words. "Besides i thought you liked turtles, and now you won't mind them being dead, what kind of like is that?" she turned the subject again

"I do like turtles, but the circle of life does have to continue. Think of it like this. He could have been an old turtle that had had many kids and grand kids. He did wha t he wanted to in life... reproduce. Turtles are cool, but everything eventually becomes food for something else," Reese replied shrugging.

Shanae bubbled a giggle and stood straight again. "True, the axium of life i believe? Is it?" she laughed at her uncertainess, "Anyway, i can understand boys, most especially if they're crushed," she grinned.
"Anyway, what else are there to do here in Tree Hill?" she asked

"Any recommendation of cafe or diners her?" she grinned over at Reese, her eyes sparkling and her hair was damp with water

"Do you mind?"

Shanae raised her eyebrows, "you drive?" she asked. She had always wanted to drive but she had broken a few cars in her practice with her dad and sadly gave up.
