It was early morning as Shanae walked down the white sands of the beach. The morning light had splashed down on her cream of a skin and glanced off. She pushed her long fingers through her long hair with a smile and a smile, it was kind of worth it changing schools. They had a fantastic beach, and the place was just awesome. Shanae knew she'd had to do a lot of adapting here but liked it.
"Home, new home," she said as she looked at the sparkling blue sea with temporary contentment.

It was a nice day. The boys were out and so were her parents. Jocky wasn't one to wait around the house for them to return, thus she had decided early in the day to give herself a treat and take Edger out for a walk along with her. She was thinking about going to the swimming pool, but she knew the beach would keep her and her dog busier than if she went to the pool with him.
She hadn't expected to see someone walking in the beach early in the morning though, and the surprise was she didn't know this person. Growing up in Tree Hill, she knew almost everybody, thus this was strange.
Without further ado, curiosity got the best of her and so Jocky walked up the the girl. "Hey," she said, lightly tapping the girl's shoulder.

Shanae swiftly turned around to the sudden voice and found herself facing a bright new face. She sighed and smiled with relief that it wasn't a muggler. "Hey," she camly replied to the face,

Jocky patted Edger's head for a moment. She really hasn't seen the girl before, which would probably mean that she's new around town. Either that or Jocky didn't really know everyone, which is virtually impossible.
"New around town?" she finally asked. "I'm Jocky Mallard by the way."

Shanae smiled at the dog beside the girl, she loved animals but not as much as she loves sports. She nodded as she shifted them back at the gorl with a grin. "Yes actually, and it's very wonderful place! The beach is amazing, and oh, does it show?" she pointed to her face with a smile. "I am Shanae Mael Hazen, before i forget..." she smiled sheepishlym knowing that she would have

Jocky laughed. "Well, it's a small community and everyone knows everyone around these parts," she explained. she looked at the girl, she was pretty. Perhaps a girl from the city? she thought, though she did not voice out the things in her mind.
"Welcome to Tree Hill, Shanae. it's a great place." The girl smiled brightly as she said, "So I presume you're off to Tree Hill High for the rest of the time before the break comes around?" she said.

OOC: Is that high school musical? hahaha lolz
Shanae looked at Jocky with a smile and thought that she was pretty. She nodded as she smiled. "Yes, and i think that you'd be seeing me around whilst you go on with your business," she grinned, knowing intinctively that she would be like a wanderer searching for something yet not knowing. "Have you been here long?" she asked

OOC: Yup, still trying to fix it though!
IC:
Jocky once again smile. the question was a bit funny to her, but then again, Shanae wouldn't know sho she can't blame her.
"Born and raised here," replied Jocky. "I've been out of Tree Hill only a couple of times."
The breeze carried Jocky's hair. Jocky loved the feeling of the cool beach every time she visited. Edger barked. Apparently, he loved it as well.

She grinned, but then she truned her attention back at the dog who caught her attention back. The dog was cute and looked friendly enough. She propped her hands to her knees and looked closer to the dog, "and who might be this be?" she reached out her hands to the dog. But then paused, "will he bite?" Shanae asked caustiously

Jocky nudged her head towards Shanae. "What's with your manners today, Edger?" she asked. "Go be friends with her." Jocky looked up and shook he head. "No, Edger's trained to be friendly licking dog," she explained. "His name's Edger...yeah."
Edger, though quite timidly, walked up to Shanae and started to lick her hand.
Jocky smiled. "I think he likes you," she commented, knowing her dog won't lick just anybody's hand even though Jocky would tell him to. "Wanna play with him?"

Many girls from where she came from would squeal in protest of the slobber that Edger left. Though, she liked it. She grinned like an idiot as she patted the dog affectionately. "I would love to play with this prince here," she smiled up at Jocky, "can i really?" she asked once again

Jocky threw her head back and laughed. "Yeah, of course you can. We came out here to get some exercise, sow hat better way than having fun along with it too?" she asked, placing her hands on her waist and nudging Edger towards a driftwood stick nearby. "Go get it, boy. We're gonna play some catch," she said.
Indeed Edger went to get it, and went back to Shanae instead of Jocky.
But that didn't hurt Jocky's feelings. "You have the honor of throwing the first stick," Jocky said playfully to Shanae.

Shanae looked at the play infront of her and smiled. When Edger gave the stick to her, she smiled sheepishly at Jocky, hoping she wouldn't get mad. But then she saw her smile so she grinned. Shanae gladly took the wood from Edger and threw it hard, sending it feets away from them, and waited for Edger ro get it.
"How old is Egder?" she asked

Edger gave two barks before running after it. He ran as fast as he could, eventually getting hold of the stick even before it landed on the sand.
Jocky watched as Edger ran. She could not be more proud of his posture as he did. The puppy training did pay off.
"He's a year old," replied Jocky. "Though sometimes he acts more like a puppy than he ought to!"

Shanae grinned as she listened to what Jocky said. "Is he? Wow," she commented as she stared after Edger. "Is Tree Hill as wonderful as they make it sound like?" she asked once again,
