"I might be biased," said Jocky, "but to me, tree Hill is the best there could be. I've seen where my cousins live and it never felt like home to me...unlike Tree Hill." She smiled. "Plus there are a lot of friendly people going around. A few snobs, yes, but you'll get the hang of it soon enough."
She watched as Edger look at her, hoping that Jocky would throw another sick for him to chase. Picking up another piece of wood, Jocky did so and Edger tore through the sand to catch it.

"I know, i can tell," she nodded her head, letting a few strands dance with the morning breeze. The smell of the beach lingered beneath her nose and caressed her cream of a skin. "I'm already liking the beach, is there any recammendable resort here you can tell me?" she asked, darting her eyes at the blue-green water instead of searching for a resort.
The only thing she asked that was so that she would know when to avoid it when she wanted to be alone and when to check it out. If she could calculate the distance from it, she could be un-findable.

Jocky laughed as she threw her head back. "No, there's no resort here," she replied. "It's just simple living." She looked at the sea and smiled. "This is pretty much the resort already. you're lucky to have a beach house, or get invited to a beach house party," she said.
Edger ran back to them. Jocky picked up the stick from his mouth and threw it again, having the dog run once more.

"Really?" she asked, completely shocked and surprised by the information.
She squinted around the beach and found it was true. She frowned, it was very unusual to her. Was it possible to have a beautiful beach without a resort? It was just... not right. "Is that really possible?" Shanae asked, her eyebrows crease in between her forehead,

Jocky nodded. "Well, you're here. You'll pretty much find out for yourself. Besides, you don't really need a resort to have fun, trust me!" she said. She looked at the sun, which was getting higher as the day moved on. "You'll forget about resorts once you start moving about in this place," Jocky assured her, having seen many do so.

"I don't need a resort to have fun, i have my sports to attend to," Shanae grinned at the reassurance, "so since there aren't any resort and your mall is that small, as i have seen a glimpse... parties are mostly the deal here, am i correct?" she looked back at Jocky with an expectant look.

Jocky nodded. "Well, at least you know something about the life here in Tree Hill!" said Jocky excitedly. This girl, she was starting to like. Edger barked for attention, but Jocky did not mind him for a second. "Sports? Sports are awesome around here, especially in Tree Hill High. What do you play?" she asked.
She was liking Shanae more and more, especially the fact that the girl loved sports as well.

Shanae grinned at the sudden turn of subject. "I play mostly anything as long as it's sports," she shrugged humbly, "just mention it and i have probably done it, excemption of bungee-jumping and height sports, i suck at those" Shanae laughed as she rubbed Edge's head and took the chance to throw the stick.

"That's awesome!" said Jocky, now with a pretty wide smile on her face. 'I can't wait to watch you play. Would you be trying out?" she asked, hopeful that this girl was as good as she says so. Tree Hill High definatly needs some more talent right about now, since the Senior player have graduated from last year.
Edger bark, grabbing Jocky's attention. Jocky took the stick from the dog and threw it as far as she could. "Hm, what places have you seen around Tree Hill though?" she asked.

Lauren walked down the beach with Boltz at her side, the trademark Marlboro Red hanging from between her lips. Her parents hated her smoking in the house and her sister had been too busy to walk their english bulldog so she had spotted the perfect opportunity for both a long walk and a sneaky smoke. As she walked she heard the sound of voices and a dog's loud bark. Boltz heard it too, and the usually lazy dog's ears perked up. "Boltz..." Lauren started, but it was too late the excited bulldog was already gearing up to run. Muttering several curse words under her breath the young punk found herself jogging after the dog, lead digging painfully into her wrist.
As they neared the voices and the barking Lauren recognised two girls her age and she raised a hand to wave at them. "Boltz will you stop?!" She snapped, finally digging her heels in. The dog barked once but slowed down to a comfortable walk. "Finally." Lauren growled, walking towards the girls. "Hey, you two go to Tree Hill right? I'm Lauz."

Edger growled at Boltz. Somehow, the Labrador didn't like company because attention would no longer be on him. Even dogs feel the competition about it.
Jocky turned to Lauren. "Oh, hey there," she said, with a grin on her face just like she had when she greeted Shanae. It was kind of wierd to see so many new faces. She didn't expect to do so. "Yes, I go to Tree Hill High."

Shanae's eyes brightened at the new comers, both animal and human. New people!
"Hello, i'm Shanae, and yeah i go there too," she crouched to face the dog with a wide smile. "May i?" she asked as she looked hopefully at Lauz

"Awesome dog, by the way," Jocky added as she took a quick glance at Boltz while Edger was still growling. She meant to call Edger off, but she knew her canine wouldn't anyway, so why bother with it. Jocky had always wanted one of those bulldogs, but her parents wouldn't let her get one since she had her hands full with Edger most of the time.

Lauren glanced over at Shanae and nodded, her attention still half divided between the two girls. "Sure go ahead, he's about as fierce as a pillow." She laughed. "Nice Labrador you got there too, my sister wanted a Lab but the 'rents figured I wasn't fit enough to look after it while she was busy." She paused and took a drag of the cigarette. "I figure they're right." She grinned, eyes sparking. "So what subjects are you two looking forwards to?"

If there was one thing her parents taught her, it was never to smoke. Though she had a stick or two, her brothers covered up for her, which she was grateful for. Jocky held back the urge to want some as she watched Lauren smoke.
"Mainly sports," she replied. Jocky wasn't as fond of school as she ought to be. In fact, if she could skip everything and go straight to Gym class, it would be fine. but there was also something that caught her attention, and it was English Lit. "And English," she finally added, thinking it appropriate to do so.
