"Thanks bro!" Skye called as she stepped out of her brother's battered Pontiac to stand on the kerb and stare at the school building ahead of her. The car door slammed and she turned to stare at the dark eyes of her older brother. A lot of the time, he was distant and angry, some days however, he could be like he used to be.
"You're taking me home at 4.45 right?"
"That depends if you're here or not?" Her brother replied with a faint trace of a smile. "Remember to let me know if you find a friend to get on the bus with."
"I doubt it'll happen that fast!"
"Yeah right..." He glanced at the steering wheel and then down at his watch. "Look get going squirt, I've got to register too.." He gave her a rare smile and pushed the car into reverse. Skye stepped back as Ocean drove towards several free spaces in the student lot, leaving her alone on the concrete.

Aiden sauntered down to his old school. A school to which he was already very familiar with, new and old faces passed by him with smiles plastered on their faces. Some were nervous and some were beaming brightly, he slung his bag once again before it slipped from his shoulder. But as he walked absently, he bumped into a girl with a height of a second year.
"I'm so sorry," Aiden smiled repentantly down at the young girl and examined her face. A new student. "What a crappy welcome for your first day," he chuckled, "may we start again?" Aiden asked as he then gestured to the school. "Welcome to One tree Hill, I'm Aiden and you are?"

"Skye!" She replied with a nervous smile as she looked at him. "Do you know where I go to register, I've got no idea!"

"Pleasure to meet you Skye," Aiden inclined his head a bit at the young girl. "Well then, i'll show you to the office," he gestured to the school, "so how do you like the school?" he asked

"Well.. from what I've seen it looks okay!" Skye replied as she started to walk, holding her books against her chest as she moved alongside him. "What are the teachers like?"
As she headed into the school, her brother watched from his car, a wry grin on his lips.
way to go sis, a couple of hours here and you're already seeking out the opposite sex
He reached into the back of the car and pulled out his book bag, before standing straight and staring at the edifice before him.
"Well here goes!" He locked the car and headed towards the old brick structure.

Aiden smiled and looked back at the school, as he processed the thought in his mind. "Well, some but i hear lots of teachers are new so i wouldn't know," he shrugged, "but our last teachers were brutal, though some were fine, others were just merciless," Aiden shook his head. "I hope i'm not scaring you," he grinned boyishly as he looked down, but then a guy looked at them and smiled at Skye as if he knew her. A brother perhaps. "Related?" he asked as he looked at the guy
