The sky was a god-made canvas. Simple yet a perfect peace of art. For Emily Rose, the sky wasn't exactly comforting her. The sun faded slightly as a pure white cloud hid it from humadity. It was a still day and even though she was new, Emily Rose knew 'exactly' where the gym was. It held her history inside and she was dieing to see it for the first time.
She opened the large Gym door and stepped inside closing the door behind her quietly, her ocean blue eyes locked onto the court while she was doing so.
She was wearing tight jeans and a plain dark green top, which didn't exactly match but she didn't care what other people thought of her. She sat on the side stairs, where people sat to watch the proffesional games, sighing slight she observed the roomw ith her ocean blue eyes. "So this is the great court."

It hadn't always been great, being the youngest and the only girl in the house. Yes, she was different and people tend not to forget she exist, but it wouldn't hurt to get a sister too, right?
Sometimes, Jocky just wanted to get away from it all...somehow...in some way. Most times, she would end up in the gym, the place where everything didn't matter except the game she loved. If only she was a guy, it would help a lot too...maybe.
As she walked into the gym, she saw someone standing inside. "Hey," she said as she walked up to the girl.

She was broken from her trance and immediate attention was drawn to the girl who was slowly approaching her. Emily Rose didn't really ... socialize. Even though she was a cheer leader she was practically a Social Outcast, she preffered to remain by herself most of the time to think about life and the career she wants to pursue.
"Oh ... hey" she raised her palm up in a still greeting and gave quick smile and grinned partially. She looked at the gym floor slowly dragging her head away from the girl, No one had ever greeted Emily Rose before, thats probably the reason why she never really talked to anyone because of her shy quality personality.

Jocky looked at the girl. She somehow had seen that face before, but then again, she was not really good at names and faces and it would have been rude to throw one at her.
"I'm Jocky..." she introduced herself as she walked up to Emil Rose. "Are you new around here? I don't think I've seen you around these parts, but I feel like I've seen you somewhere." Jocky gave a little laugh. "Trust me, I'm so bad at names."

She looked back at the girl that had approached her and smirked slightly, " Well then, my name isn't going to make anything easier for you. Its a double name, meaning its got two names on one." She was hesitant, she wasn't really the social type and she sounded a little frisky when she spoke which made her feel angry at herself. " Sorry if I sound alittle rude, its just. I am not really the social type. " she spoke softly her vocals were nearly impossible to hear, but they were in the gym the echoe was loud enough.
" Its Emily Rose. And yes, I am new here. "

Jocky smiled at her. She might not have the best memory around, but she was not one to let a newcomer feel unwelcome. "That's great! It's good to have you in Tree Hill!| she exclaimed.
She looked around the gym. "Though I have to wonder...of all the places you could have visited, why the gym?"
Past experiences told Jocky that the gym wasn't really the first thing you wanted to see around a new town even though you are a person into sports.

Her voice echoed through the gym, and slowly her eyes trailed toward Jocky. "My grandfather's history is here." she paused inhaling deeply "He's more of my father then mmy actualy father is." she looked back on the gym floor boards, slowly shut down by her past, her history. Her burden.

Jocky looked at the girl. She didn't mean to pry into anyone's life, but that statement sounded quite interesting. "Grandfather, huh? What's his name? I might have come across him once if ever he lived here," she said with a smile.
