Background:
Virgil was born and raised in Tree Hill. His parents, Bryant and Emily Collins, gave him a happy eleven years of life as a family. Being an only child, most of Virgil's childhood was attended upon by his parents and they made sure that Virgil did well in school. They constantly reminded him that the only thing he can depend on was himself. There was one thing that his parents neglected to tell the boy, and it was that as he grew people would think little and little about studies and more and more about their social life.
When Virgil was twelve, his parents divorced. It devastated Virgil because he was already very much contented with how his life was going. Unfortunately, it wasn't the only thing that was going to change. His mother married a man he barely even knew. It was only explained that David Bracket was a friend from college whom his mother had always been in love with. Virgil would sometimes wonder why his mother hadn't married him in the first place. A year after the marriage, Virgil received news that he would have a younger half sibling.
Due to depression which piled up more and more, Virgil kept himself from people. He became very sensitive and needy. He ate more than the usual without noticing it, and thus having him end up the way he did as he entered High School, which he apparently had to survive through.
CHARACTER
Physical Appearance: Virgil is short for his age with dark brown hair and bright blue eyes (which he inherited from his father). He is quite pale too, mainly because of the lack of exposure from the sun. He's a bit chubby and is wearing glasses and braces which he got right out of seventh grade. Virgil has no birthmark of any sort and has never gotten a tattoo.
Likes: If there is one thing to remember about Virgil, it's his ability to read. He loves books, no matter what they are about. He also enjoys collecting stamps. Observing ants was another one of his little quirks which will keep him busy for hours.
Dislikes: Sports. if there is one thing Virgil keeps away from, it's sports. He doesn't like bullies either, since he was mainly the victim and being the victim is not fun. He doesn't like cars either and said that he could live life without it. Another thing Virgil didn't like was being told he was fat. He hated to admit the fact that he was a bit on the heavy side.
Strengths: Virgil has a vast knowledge of things. Because of his love for reading, he has gone through teeny bits of information people do not even bother with, thus helping him have an upper edge on trivia. He can be very hardworking too, if he wanted. Virgil is a smart boy and does well with the books and is always able to keep up with homework.
Weakness: His chubbiness is the main cause of all his problems. He cannot run as fast as the others can, making him poor at sports or keeping up with the other people his age. He cannot seem to blend in as well, especially at parties, causing him to be very sensitive and lack confidence.
