Background:

Miguel was born in Spain and has grown up speaking Spanish all his life. He learned a little of English in his school, but he still speaks in the language with a heavy Spanish accent.
From the time he was young, the boy was taught to be self-confident. His father pushed him hard to play basketball and American football because he believed that a boy should entice himself with outdoor sports. Miguel actually grew fond of the games and began to love it as he grew into the sport itself. He played junior league in his school as soon as he was able to, winning a few awards for himself, such as Rookie of the Year.
There was a downside to all this and one was Miguel was held back during the 6th grade for incompletion of his schoolwork. Thus, his father made him stop doing sports for a year, only causing the boy to thirst for it even more.
By the time Miguel reached his freshman year, his body was still physically fit and the high school coach noticed and offered him a tryout for the school team. With his parents' blessing, Miguel tried out and once again became Rookie of the Year. It took him two years to gain popularity, but by the time he got it, the family had to move to the United States because his father had gotten a better paying job there.
Thus Miguel bitterly moved to Tree Hill, North Carolina, in hopes to still have the world he knew back in Spain.

CHARACTER

Physical Appearance: Miguel is tall for his age with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He's quite physically fit. He has a tan too, because of long living in Spain. Everybody could see his distinguishable Spanish features.

Likes: Basketball, Football, Cheerleaders, Parties, and Music

Dislikes: Homework, Authority, Geeks, and Detention

Strengths: Miguel is very charismatic and can be quite persuasive. He is very good in sports. He is also quite sharp when it comes to Maths, though he does not acknowledge that because he wanted his reputation to be one who plays sports and nothing else apart from it.

Weakness: He is very lazy when it comes to school and he will not tolerate authority which gets him into trouble. He's very thingyy too and does not get along well with others outside his clique.
