Background: Trent was the son of one of New York's finest- a firefighter. His mother taught music at the city high school he'd attended. It was great place to grow up, always having something to do or someone around. From an early age, Trenton was extremely close to his family. Thanks to his mother, he developed a passion for music and theatre, performing plays and musicals with a community theatre group and starting a band with his friends at the age of nine. The band quickly broke up, but it was all in fun and games and they all remained the best of friends.

During a fire in a downtown warehouse, all of the fire precincts were called in to help, the one his father worked for included. Always fearing that someone would be trapped inside, Marcus had thought the blaze was contained enough to dash in. He wasn't trying to be a hero; he was thinking of how he'd feel if any of his sons were trapped inside a burning building. His youngest, Tyler, had just been born. Sadly, the fire hadn't been contained as well as he thought and parts of the ceiling and roof collapsed down on him.

To get away from the city, as she didn't think she could handle three young boys on her own with her grief, Erin moved the family south to Tree Hill to live with her mother, Mary, who welcomed her daughter and grandsons to the city with open arms.

Strengths: He's the man of the house, so he takes a lot seriously. Trent is never one to leave a job unfinished or a promise broken; he sees everything through to the end. Mainly it's because he has a lot of respect for the people he knows, as well as wanting to set a good example for his brothers. Being very good with his hands, he's seen working on or riding his bike through town or playing at the local club with his band.

Weakness: Girls are drawn to him, seeing him as mysterious. In years before, he always seemed to pick the wrong ones to date, the ones that end up hurting him in the end. He's always respectful and faithful to his girlfriends, but he hasn't found one who would be the same for him. Trent tends to be a pushover when it comes to his family, readily agreeing to almost anything asked of him by his mother, grandmother, or younger brothers. He trusts too easily and is slow to admit when he's wrong sometimes (his mother swears he got that from his father).
